Woods Bagot,
San Francisco

Located in the heart of downtown San Francisco, architectural firm Woods Bagot sought to freshen up their existing studio into a space that reflected their modern, collaborative office culture. Building on their vision, lighting not only took subtle influence from the industrial architecture, but also drew from the client's desire for flexibility of scenes and a variety of moods in the space. A mix of light sources establishes visual cues and the sense of distinction between the private, task, and communal spaces. The kitchen features minimal pendant lighting and accent lighting integrated into custom shelving for an intimate feel. Suspended track focuses at lounge areas and display shelving gave a hospitality experience upon entering the office. Suspended linear lighting at open desks provides bright, even illumination for any tasks at hand.
